The following are questions regarding the primary risk factors of Preeclampsia. If you can answer "Yes" to any of the following, we suggest you consult your physician regarding the degree of your preeclampsia risk.
Have you had hypertension prior to becoming pregnant?
Do you have an African ancestry?
Have you had preeclampsia in a previous pregnancy?
Do you have a pre-existing renal (kidney) problem?
Have you had a pregnancy resulting in IUGR (intrauterine growth retardation)?
Have you had a pregnancy resulting in a SGA (small for gestational age) baby?
Do you have diabetes (any type)?
Do you have a clotting disorder?
Do you have a BMI (Body Mass Index) of over 30?
